CCA Timber Posts - Free Disposal Vouchers

Bushfire affected residents who have CCA timber (posts only, not ash) can access free disposal vouchers from the Local Recovery Centre:

Fabrik Arts and Heritage in the Old Woollen Mill
1 Lobethal Road, Lobethal

These vouchers are for the disposal of fire damaged CCA (permapine) posts and logs only. No other waste materials will be accepted and you must have a voucher to dispose of CCA timber.

The opening hours and location for drop-off is printed on the vouchers. Vouchers need to be handed to gate attendants at time of CCA timber waste delivery.

To collect your free CCA timber drop-off voucher, visit the Local Recovery Centre, 1 Lobethal Road, Lobethal.

What do I do about other wastes?

Adelaide Hills Council and Mt Barker District Council are providing three 'tip vouchers' per property to all properties within the fire scar area regardless of damage. Each voucher entitles the resident to dispose of one trailer load of general waste or green organics waste free of charge.

Tip vouchers are accepted at five locations:

  • Heathfield Resource Recovery Centre, 32 Scott Creek Road, Heathfield
  • Springton Transfer Station located at Springton to Williamstown Road, Springton
  • Northern Adelaide Waste Management Authority Transfer Station, Gate 3 Bellchambers Road, Edinburgh North
  • Northern Adelaide Waste Management Authority Transfer Station, 63-75 Research Road, Pooraka
  • Windmill Hill Transfer Station, 1 Windmill Lane, Totness

Opening times are printed on vouchers. Vouchers need to be handed to gate attendants at time of waste delivery.

To request your tip vouchers:
Residents who live in the Cudlee Creek fire scar area should call their relevant council or visit the Local Recovery Centre at 1 Lobethal Road.
